We had an amazing week of learning!

Social Studies: This week we finished learning about an important part of Saskatoon's landscape: their bridges! Saskatoon is known as "the City of Bridges" and has some amazing bridges over the South Saskatchewan River. Ask me!

Math: We have worked on sorting and patterns. We have become more complex with our sorting as we look at more than one attribute (feature) to sort. For example, when looking at some socks, we discovered we could sort by both colour and length. It was a tricky concept that we will come back to later in grade 2.

Science: We have conducted more experiments with water!

Language Literacy: This week we have dived deep into descriptive writing! We thought carefully about our favourite stuffed animal, then brought them to school to see how closely we described them in words! It was an exciting learning opportunity and we have all developed as writers!

Art: Our Chagall windows last week turned out amazing!

Thank you for all your support with our amazing students!
